At Burnham Funeral Services our aim is to provide a complete and compassionate service to our clients during a difficult time. To ensure the highest possible standards, we are members of the National Society of Independent Funeral Directors, the British Institute of Funeral Directors and the National Association of Funeral Directors, and we follow and support all of their codes of practise.

We are the only qualified independent family owned funeral directors serving Burnham-on-Sea, Highbridge and the surrounding villages, and our funeral directors, Richard Marsh L.M.B.I.F.D. DiP. F.D. and David Underwood L.M.B.I.F.D. DiP. F.D. offer a 24 hour personal service including home visits and evening appointments.

We offer a wide range of products and services, including a wide choice of coffins from traditional to eco-friendly, and as monumental masons are able to offer all types of memorials, including providing consultation and planning. We aim to provide for all arrangements, including but not limited to, services such as press announcements and catering. We are also able to provide any required floral arrangements through our ownership of Rosemary's Florist. Our premises includes two private chapels of rest to accomodate families and friends paying their respects.

Our fleet of new, traditional black, hearse and seven seater limousines provide safe, stately and comfortable travel on the day of the funeral, or alternatively we are specialists in providing a horse drawn service. With families becoming increasingly dispersed across the country, we also specialise in distance funerals.

As part of our desire to minimise stress during a difficult time we are able to provide legal advice on issues such as registering the death, pensions and obtaining probate.
